Won First Place and Best of Division and the all new this year award the “Idyllwild Arts Imagination Award”. The award is about a work that expresses the unique vision and imagination of the artist in addressing issues of importance to Indigenous communities. Shouldn’t ALL awards consider that? The spectrum of the “imagination” includes concept and/or use of materials, and may defy traditional classification.
